Is It Me or Does Beyonce and Her Bodyguard Make a Cuter Couple?

His name is Julius De Boyer and he is from the Netherlands and he is pretty cute may I add. Whenever I see them together I just think they look so cute, but she belongs to Lips-Z, I meant Jay-Z.... What?

Seriously. Why?

While behind bars T.I buys Tiny a 2010 Porsche Panama Turbo! Can we say niiiiiiiice? The car is definately hot.

But on the other hand, why is she relevant? I'm just saying.....

Carrie Underwood's Wedding Lashes

The Grammy winner is having a custom pair of faux lashes designed by celebrity lash expert, Stephen Moleski! "She wore my lashes to the Grammys and fell in love with them," Moleski says. "We decided to create a custom pair based on her favorite elements of existing styles." The special set will be a mix of Moleski's New York, Nashville, and Miami lashes ($13.50/each, smokeandmirrorsbeauty.com). "It's a tapered feathered lash—shorter on the inside corner, thick and fluffy everywhere else," he says. The good news for you? As soon as Underwood and Fischer tie the knot, the lashes will available to the public on Moleski's site.

Have a Cleaner Skin by Using a Toothbrush. Seriously.

Like me, you are probably taking a hit from the recession and because of that you have to come up with some creative ways in surviving.

I want to invest in the Clairsonic Skincare Brush, but coughing up $150 is recessionista no no right now. So here is a clever way in keeping your skin beautiful......invest in an electric toothbrush.

Yes, you heard right. You will never look at a toothbrush the same after you use it (please do not use it simultaneously...eww). Before you leave my blog, let me explain:

Well basically, we all know the skin is the largest organ in the body and for that it needs constant care. Your skin is constantly shedding and the old layer of skin is being pushed away by the newer skin layer. Exfoliating the top most old layer of your skin "Stratum Corneum" helps the newer skin layer emerge and moisturizers other treatments becomes more effective. The stratum corneum mostly acts as a barrier between the outside world and the lower skin layers. It keeps all but the smallest molecules from getting through, so if we exfoliate it, then the products that you are using on your face will be more effective.

A blackhead is basically a plug in the pore made up of oil, dead cells and bacteria. If the skin pore remains open, the exposure to the air causes the plug to darken in color, this resulting in a blackhead. If the pore is closed, a whitehead forms because of the build up of white blood cells that attacks the bacteria in the plug.

Everyone has pores. Pores are inevitable and they are only visible if they have dirt and oil in them. Once they are stretched, it is pretty much impossible to close them unless you have laser treatments, but we can stop them from getting bigger and clear them. By that, exfoliating your skin to promote the newer skin layer to rejuvenate will help keep the pores clear. A clear pore looks smaller than a clogged pore.

To begin, you will first start off with an exfoliating scrub. You can use the one of your choice. I like Biore'. Take the scrub and then apply it to your toothbrush and then in a gentle circular motion cleanse your face.

Next take a toner and a moisturizer to close your skin cleaning process. Voila!

I think this is a great idea for those with oily skin and those that wear make-up daily. I suggest to cleanse your face daily (duhh), but deep clean approximately twice a week.

Have fun divas!!

Removing Eye Make-up with Products You Cook With-Hmmmmm

I don't know about you guys, but I HATE cleaning make-up off my eyes, especially when you have been out all night drinking and partying and all you want to do is flop right into the bed. WAIT....that was life before marriage and kids. Back to reality.

The point is, there is a way to clean the make-up off of your eyes in less than 5 minutes. The way to do that is by using extra virgin olive oil. *trumpets*

First pour a small amount of the extra virgin oilive oil in a small container. Next take a tissue or cotton ball and dip it into the extra virgin olive oil. Gently take the tissue or cotton and wipe it across your entire eyelid removing any make-up residue.

Wash your face afterwards in your normal traditional manner.

If you do not have extra virgin olive oil, you can baby oil and/or jojoba oil.

Happy cleaning beauties!

Ideas for Decorating a Boy's Room

I am thinking about doing something different with my son's room. I searched the net to come up with some ideas:

Thank You Card I did for a Girlfriend

I have a hobby that I am in the process of trying to perfect and turn into a business and it is..................making greeting cards. If you know me, you know that I love girly stuff. The cards will be upscale with a chic flair. I'm excited about this as I explore my creative side.

So, I created thank you cards for my girlfriend. Her name is Lisa and she is a fan of Chat in the City. Her and her hubby are renewing their wedding vows and she was looking for thank you cards to send to her guests, so I volunteered to do them for her. This is what I did:

Her wedding is not as formal as the first one, so the cards aren't formal, but of a chic/dream like detail.

I would love to do cards for you guys upon requests. I have others I am going to post. Stay tuned.

Get This Look: Kelly Osbourne

A blonde and a good looking Kelly Osbourne attended the G-Star Raw show at New York Fashion Week on February 16th.

She wears a stunning vivid blue beaded necklace that really pops her black and white outfit.

With this necklace you can definately add some glitz to a boring black or white outfit.

Happy shopping beauties!

Nice and comfy

This past Saturday, I tried to bring back my inner "Diva" and wore stilettos to my sorority's chapter meeting. I was the host for that day and THOUGHT I could manage walking around in 4 inch heels for about an hour and a half.

WRONG!!!!

My feet were killing me, but your girl kept it cute!

So anyways, I went on a search looking for some cute flats to wear. Of course, I don't want any type of looking flat. Something that is fashionable and blends in with my ensemble. So this is what I found: I found these on Forever 21's website. They also come in black and grey. I think they are cute. Well, I am getting them!!!

Kardashians Sisters Have No Taste?

The Cut: New York Magazine's Fashion Blog: "Tim Gunn Is Not a Fan of the Kardashians’ Design CareerIs Gunn a supporter of the Kardashians' Bebe line? 'No! I just think the Kardashians have an absence of taste and I don’t think that that should be perpetuated. I’m sorry I’m sounding like an old farty snob but it bothers me.' And on JWOWW launching a clothing line: 'Preposterous! Preposterous! Sorry.'

Don't you just love him. He always speaks his mind. LOL

Got my falsies today!!

Yes, I wear them. They are cute. They help enhance your look and they are fabulous. I am talking about false eyelashes. Of course, I don't like looking like a drag queen. No offense to those that like the dramatic look. I like a simple, natural look that enhances my natural eyelashes.

My favorite brand is Ardelle, #110. I buy mine in bulk from Madame Madeline. To me it is cheaper than going in the store every week to buy new lashes. I wear a pair of lashes at least twice. I don't put mascara on mine ONLY if I want to draw more attention to my eyes, but really you don't need to put mascara on them.

Anyways, I thought I'd share a bit of my life with ya!

Hello My Little Pretties

I apologize for not keeping up the blog on a regular. This was not my expectation when I first started this blog.

So much has been going on with the kids, my family and my husband. Congrats to my husband. He is back in school working on a double masters. I have been trying to be very supporative with him in that aspect.

The kids are doing well. I can't believe in 5 months Harper will be 2! Oh geez how time flies. Noah is Noah. lol

Me, I have been doing. A little stressed because I so desperately want my dreams to come true this year. I've been praying and trying to stay faithful. I am really expecting BIG things because I am a BIG deal. lol

Do you guys remember the turquoise shoes I reported on a few weeks ago? Well, I got them! Well, there more like the leather version. They are pointy toe with about a 3 3/4 heel. I think they are cute!

Me and Noah at his 4th b'day party
Gotta go. SMOOCHES!
